Holistic Skin Care/ Esthetician

Dana is a Certified Holistic Esthetician. Dana’s interest in natural
skincare began 10 years ago as she was concocting masks and other
beauty products from herbs and ingredients found in her mom’s kitchen.
During this time she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication
and Journalism studies from New York University. Realizing her passions
lied elsewhere, she spent a year traveling Central America to figure it
out. It was at this time she was exposed to different holistic healing
modalities and skin care therapies.

in the field of holistic healing and enrolled in Pacific College of
Oriental Medicine. Three years into the program she transferred to the
San Diego campus and finished her last year earning a Master of Science
in Traditional Oriental Medicine. A facial rejuvenation course taken in
her last semester at PCOM inspired her to enroll in an Esthetician
program to study the skin in depth and learn more about skin care.
Always striving for the best, she chose Bellus Academy, which was named
best school of 2008 by Modern Salon. After graduation she took an
advanced training program to become a certified holistic esthetician
and learn about the most up to date holistic technologies, ingredients,
and techniques in skin care.
